              Scholarships

              The CBEA and Paul Boynton Scholarships
              The CBEA and Paul Boynton Scholarships are valued at $500 each.  eligibility requirements are:

              • The student must ba a legal resident of Connecticut
              • The student must be a graduating senior
              • The student must be planning to major in business
              • The student must have at least a B average
              • The student must submit a written letter of recommendation from a CBEA member
              • An official transcript of grades must accompany the application
              • The word processed application, letter of recommendation, and transcript must be received by May 1 of the application year.

              The Stanley Lesoff Memorial Scholarship
              The value of the Stanley Lesoff Memorial Scholarship varies. Eligibility requirements are:

              • The student must be a legal resident of Connecticut
              • The student must have taken one credit in accounting with one additional credit in a business related course
              • The student must be a graduating senior
              • The student must be planning to major in accounting
              • The student must have at least a B average
              • The student must submit a written letter of receommendation from a CBEA member
              • An official transcript of grades must accompany the application
              • The word processed application, letter of recommendation, and transcript must be received by May 1 of the application year.

              Once all eligibility requirements are met, consideration will be given to the number of courses taken, extra-curricular activities, offices held, and overall GPA. Recipients will receive written notification by June 1 of the application year.  Awards will be dispersed to students after verification of college enrollment and a copy of a second term tuition bill is received.  Check will be forwarded to the recipients address after October 1st of the year of graduation.  To receive an application, please email Lisa Ann Fioravanti
